Classics and English Annual Lecture: Anne Carson’s Euripides & the Combustion of Thought

The eighth annual Classics and English lecture will be delivered by Associate Professor Laura Jansen (University of Bristol). Laura will speak on “Anne Carson’s Euripides & the Combustion of Thought,” drawing from her current research on the Canadian author’s avant-garde translations of Euripides’ Herakles in Grief Lessons (2006) and H of H Playbook (2021).
